Knights of the Stormrider is my Space Marine army. When I first started playing Warhammer 40,000, I painted my marines in a black and gold color scheme, and over the years I developed story and background ideas for them. I got the name from the Iced Earth album, Night of the Stormrider. :)

Most of my marines are very old models. The paint jobs are horrible because they were some of the first miniatures I ever painted. I am slowly repainting them to my current standards and will hopefully have a full army soon.

I first started repainting them when GW had their "Design your own marine army" contest. I just did the command squad, and so far that is still all that I have repainted. I entered the squad in the contest and came away with 8th place. Pictures of the models were on GW's website, and one of them is in White Dwarf #276.
